ET Robot cell

Target

Man is supported by the machine

Function

Each robot cell is equipped with a pick-and-place robot arm and with a control PC. The test strips are fed in via an input chute. The control system recognizes the test strip ID via an optical scan and the test strip is then placed by the robot arm in a magazine for development. After the development time of the antigen tests (usually 15 minutes), the robotic arm guides the test strip to a reader, which evaluates the test strip and forwards the result to the cloud. The human being is supported by the machine and can concentrate on the swab.
